On Ramp Course

What is the on ramp coure?
The on ramp course covers all the fundamental movements of CrossFit. In just four one hour sessions you will gain a firm understanding of the movements you will be expected to perform each time you enter CrossFit Port Talbot.

On the course you will learn -
  • Air squat
  • Wall Ball
  • Kettle bell swing
  • Shoulder press
  • Push press
  • Push Jerk
  • Back Squat
  • Front Squat
  • Over Head squat
  • Deadlift
  • Sumo deadlift high pull
  • Medicine ball clean
Each class will also end in a testing workout just to give you a taste of what you can expect each time you come to train at our Gym.


How much does it cost?
The cost of the course is £20. This gets you Four one hour sessions, this £20 will be discounted from your first month's membership.


When will the course be held?
The course will be held every week on a Tuesday and Thursday evening between 7 and 8 PM.


Who needs to do this course?
From Jan 2012 all new members who have never done CrossFit will be asked to attend these classes? Those new to CrossFit who haven't completed the on ramp course will be asked to attend the beginners class (Mon/Wed/Fri - Fri 7-8PM).
